swedish furniture giant slash love of my life - IKEA has converted the Kobe Portliner Monorail into a moving showroom before the april 14 opening of a new retail outlet at Port Island. the redecorated train, which features a colorful exterior, bright upholstery and fancy curtains, will carry passengers in style until may 6.

and it's about the only reason i would travel to japan for!

fancy a cup of cappuccino?

..or one at Cappuccino?
by day - cute, comfy, yummy cuisine and by far the nicest interior in this town,
at night - positively the best mojitos i've ever had, in and out of this town and country!
also the nicest waitresses and bartenders, and that's a rarity around here...
(but don't shamelessly hit on them, tanya dude!)

punk-o-rama

you say punk rock, i say Vans !
certainly not something new
to associate the well famous street skate brand Vans with punk rock music and old school playground nostalgie, but there you go - being officially reminded - out comes the new Bad Brains hi-top, an idea by u.s. skateshop Supreme.

for those a little back on the info train - Bad Brains is a u.s. harcore punk band formed back in '77, washington d.c. highly regarded as one of the pioneers of hardcore punk rock.

collection will be available in supreme skateshops in ny and la, also in japan...and that's about it;)

haha

*edit to post "a crime for all seasons"

ooopsie daisy, somebody got carried away in browsing their personal pictures:}
so the image that's crossed out in the hellz-bellz.com post is actually another cool street company called Married To The MOB, and i'm really really sorry for that.
well, now - i present you the most official bitches! :D nyc-based female street clothing company started in 2004 by Leah, who back then was probably the first one to notice the lack of feminine street brands.
it's kept up fairly good, with a blog site http://www.mobliving.com, features in mags from the likes of vogue, elle and missbehave and designer feats by none less famous than graff-artist Fafi.

pop-punk is soooo '05

a total favourite. i first stumbled upon them whilst googleing streetwear, and i liked their photos, now i love the sound:P
ever so scene alternative rock, breakbeat, with a keytar and a female keytarist on top of that (vicky-t owns!)
lyrics just plain rule;)
put on your neon and give'em a chance:)

a crime for all seasons

i don't think this needs any description. just plain awesome!
founded around 2005, it is "a tribute to the non-comforming female youth of today". a very good answer to the male dominated contemporary street genre.

unfortunately, not too much of the good stuff is presented on their homepage, so i'm gonna give you a tip to google them and find online shops who carry them, def worth it!!

Saturday, April 5

it's a, um well, a little shop in downtown berlin. clothes, shoes, etc mainly by Comme des Garçons, so a little plain and a wee bit overpriced...
i just love love loved the interior and the detail of everything, so that would be it:)

okay, so today i found two sites, which both impressed with really cool street style items, but allas, had too little of them. not much new collections, however enough mag features with the same ones.
that would be the reason i'm presenting you both at once. i know how it is to find something awesome and not getting enough of it ;)

music

hello sunshine, hello spring, hello new Kooks album!
we love it because it's the best soundtrack to downtown walks in spring!

dead disco?

found a cool shop in thessaloniki, greece - pull&bear. loved it:)
might be a feature at the bread and butter festival. def looks like it.

yummy

my friend maria and i just discovered a new place downtown,
an italian restaurant , called Olive's. we loved it because of the yummy Ceasar's Salad and the awesomeness of the spray-on balsamico and olive oil:)
ps. careful with the Scottish Chocolate Cake, it's way too chocolaty, even for two sweet teeth like us.

today

cut cut paste.. back on the creative track :)

daily obsessions

I guess I never did some kind of introduction to this..
There's hardly any news in someone starting a blog, or why they are starting a blog or what they are planning to publish in it so I'm going to keep it pretty simple.
Basically, I just need a place to keep everyone who cares and shares the same lifestyle informed about things and mainly trends I've discovered in like clothes, style, music, interior, or food even, etc.
The main thing is that it's strictly personal. So if i see a cool t-shirt/bag/shoes or some new kind of service/bar/restaurant/shop/street/venue/whatever-else-there-is I just take a shot with my phone/cam, post it here, and leave it for you to enjoy.
