punk-o-rama

you say punk rock, i say Vans !
certainly not something new
to associate the well famous street skate brand Vans with punk rock music and old school playground nostalgie, but there you go - being officially reminded - out comes the new Bad Brains hi-top, an idea by u.s. skateshop Supreme.

for those a little back on the info train - Bad Brains is a u.s. harcore punk band formed back in '77, washington d.c. highly regarded as one of the pioneers of hardcore punk rock.

collection will be available in supreme skateshops in ny and la, also in japan...and that's about it;)

haha

lovin vans hi-tops <3

in today's double post
(because they go so well together)
Punk's Not Dead

On the edge of the 30th anniversary of punk rock, Punk's Not Dead takes you into the sweaty underground clubs, backyard parties, recording studios, and yes, shopping malls and stadium shows where punk rock music and culture continue to thrive.

a crime for all seasons

i don't think this needs any description. just plain awesome!
founded around 2005, it is "a tribute to the non-comforming female youth of today". a very good answer to the male dominated contemporary street genre.

unfortunately, not too much of the good stuff is presented on their homepage, so i'm gonna give you a tip to google them and find online shops who carry them, def worth it!!

Saturday, April 5

it's a, um well, a little shop in downtown berlin. clothes, shoes, etc mainly by Comme des Garçons, so a little plain and a wee bit overpriced...
i just love love loved the interior and the detail of everything, so that would be it:)

okay, so today i found two sites, which both impressed with really cool street style items, but allas, had too little of them. not much new collections, however enough mag features with the same ones.
that would be the reason i'm presenting you both at once. i know how it is to find something awesome and not getting enough of it ;)

i thought those cali goodies were a right eye candy.
the whole world wearing nike high tops might get boring at some point;)
